Will moved house last weekend, well more…moved shit house into sexy new apartment
I helped him of course, running back and forth in my lickle Francis. We bagged a visitor spot in the secure carpark to move Will’s stuff in with a bit more ease, and we somewhat settled Will into his flat with some essentials, before going for a quick tesco shop. Which turned out to be a very quick tesco shop, somewhat resembling a mad dash on Supermarket Sweep, as Bob, Nicky and Rosie had arrived at Will’s flat (bringing with them some M & S goodness) and we weren’t there! We managed to get back not too long after (although getting lost on the way) and then when packing away our shopping after the grand tour we realised we’d picked up Fanta Zero instead of fanta and Peartizer instead of Appletizer. To say the least, Will was not impressed and we have sworn to never do a quick shop quite like it again. We had a lovely night with not just ordinary nibbles and sandwiches but M & S nibbles and sandwiches, and Will was a brilliant host.
The bed was suitably comfy and we had a nice lie in on the Sunday. My parents rang and said they were going to be in Manchester at the wholesalers and wondered if we wanted to meet for lunch. So Will took the opportunity to use the big Volvo to move his 46 inch Sony Bravia, which we struggled to pack/get down his two flights of windy stairs
luckily we had no trouble getting it into Will’s new place. However, I did have trouble with certain parking wardens who gave me a ticket for parking in the secure carpark over night when we were told we could. £85 they were fining me, which I was having none of. I finally managed to ring up the head office after been given the wrong number, and told to ‘come back tomorrow’ and then told to ‘ring up tomorrow’; and cancel the ticket.
So back to Sunday, we had a cuppa at Will’s then went to Pizza express for a late lunch, which was absolutely lovely. My mum and dad left soon after, as Millie had been left on her own, and she has recently had a big operation to fix a torn ligament in her knee. Will and I picked up a few more things from his old room and Ross joined us on the way back to Will’s, ready for some 46 inch new top gear action -which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Monday was spent doing Will’s washing, and trying to sort out my uni flat. Then we sorted out more of Will’s old room in the evening. We got back to his new flat quite late and as I unpacked the car I found that the Fanta Zero that had been mincing about in my boot after being rejected, had decided to pierce itself on some kind of sharp object and leak all over my boot and back seat! Managed to mop it up, but my car now smells slightly Fanta-y. We ended up chilling out watching some Sky, and some Doctor Who
Today I got my exam results, and I passed! Suprisingly. Well I have to re-do/do two pieces of coursework which shouldn’t be too hard, but other than that good. Emma got a first! Clever feckin smeghead. Ha well impressed though.
Going to Will’s this weekend again, he’s out tonight and has drunkenly made plans for the weekend, which involve getting drunk
so I’m not too fussed. Emma starts work at the Student Union on Saturday so I’m gonna go down for some Rock Kitchen action and get served first
Hopefully I’m going to get a job at the union at some point for September, which would be good. I’m proper skint.
I’ve started to re-learn guitar, brought on by playing a lot of guitar hero 3 which somewhat increased my guitar playing ego
I’ve remastered From Autumn To Ashes - Short Stories, and learnt Wonderwall for cliche purposes only. I need to get back into my drumming more though. I am yet to be famous *hmph*
