any underlying cause?

Tears at the table
and eyes hold shock
and devestation for the others
who can not even begin to imagine
how much they have lost.

Tomorrow holds so much
for no one…

A vicious lie?

but nothing can stop
anyone

It’s sad to see
such distance
and to have no faith in this
is to be alone,
is to rot,
and to be dead
with no mention of why.
